It's been almost 12 years since the Lord blessed up with our homestead.  So much has changed in those 12 years not the least of which my children all became adults.
We've added 4 lean-to structures to house different animals.  The one you can see on the left of the picture was are goat buck pen, but nicely housed our turkeys last fall.  The one center right nestled in the corner of the barn is our Southside chicken coop that houses 100 laying hens.  (they free range, they only roost in there).  To the right, the east side of the barn is now our farm kitchen.  It's where we wash veggies for farm share pickups and where we butcher chickens all summer and turkeys in November.  On the far right of the picture is the double sided roof attached to an original cinder block milk house.  The south side is our brooder pen where we brood all our day old chicken until they are about 4 weeks old.  The north side is just another chicken coop. (formerly the peacock pen)
Looking forward to more fun and shenanigans in the years to come.

Soli Deo Gloria
Jeanette
